Here is a tip to entrepreneurs: Don't try to artificially increase your Alexa/Compete ranking by asking your friends to install the toolbars and visit your site. This is not sustainable and your company is going to look like a falling rock the month after.
Hi Marcelo! Thanks for the great tips! I've read recently that Alexa rank is not very important since it only count visiting people who got the toolbar installed on their browser. I don't know about Compete though, but people who actually care about Alexa rank are actually webmasters themselves. What do you think about it?
